HGH45CA: HG Series Linear Guideways

The linear guideway is a rolling guidance system that achieves high-precision linear motion of the load platform along the guide using the infinite rolling circulation of steel balls between the slider and the rail. Compared to traditional sliding guidance systems, this design significantly reduces the friction coefficient, greatly enhancing positioning accuracy and making precise motion easier.

The metal slide rails are primarily used in machinery with high precision requirements. They operate without intermediate media between the moving and fixed components, using rolling steel balls instead. Rolling steel balls are suitable for high-speed motion, have a low friction coefficient, and offer high sensitivity, meeting the performance needs of moving parts such as tool rests and sleds in machine tools. However, if the force applied to the steel balls is too great or the preloaded load is applied for too long, it can increase the resistance to movement of the support.
